Storing data is not driven simply by technology but also by deeper and more emotional reasons. When we add the fundamental calling of our engineering efforts along with innovation, we can change the world. We will examine the role of data in our lives, look at the fundamental questions of how to gain the most effective model for being efficient, and then look at several technologies that enables us to create a better future for those generations that will follow our generation.
